Our society faces major challenges such as limiting climate change and adapting to its consequences, securing a healthy diet and preserving our cultural landscape with high biodiversity. To achieve these goals, we need a shift towards a sustainable agriculture and food economy. Representatives from a wide range of social sectors and institutions, from science as well as from practice, have been working together on possible solutions since the beginning of March 2022.
This innovative transdisciplinary research approach was made possible by the FWF’s new #ConnectingMinds funding programme.
